VOYEUR (“Under A Common Moon” – 2021 August Postcard Poems)

“Have you ever peeked, my darling, when the Crescent Moon dresses at night?”

I am embarrassed to admit

My pleasure as voyeur

Peering out

Sheer curtains at night

Breathless with the seduction

Of a simple silver slip

Elated by each nuance and shimmy

Until her fiance

The Sun

Arrives to escort her home
