RECALL (Postcard Poetry)

You were the flash of red in a world gone black and white,

The upturned palm of a nativity Jesus awaiting resurrection,

The sacred space where tan line touches skin.

I don’t remember much more about you,

Except that you were an unopened love letter lost in the mail.
